VCA is looking for experienced and motivated volleyball coaches to join our team. Applicant must have experience coaching and/or playing volleyball at the middle/high school, club, college or higher level. The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong knowledge of the game, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to developing players both on and off the court. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing practice plans, leading team drills, motivating players, and providing feedback to help them reach their full potential.

 

Responsibilities:

· Developing athletes in a positive environment

· Support the mission and vision of Volleyball Collective Academy (VCA)

· Instruct players on the fundamentals of volleyball, such as passing, setting, serving, and blocking

· Foster team bonding and team morale

· Execute team practices and conditioning sessions

· Ensure that all safety protocols are followed

· Provide support and efficient feedback to team

· Recruit and coach student athletes regularly and ensure that all student athletes take part in practice sessions regularly.

· Reliable to attend 2 evening practices per week and some weekends for tournaments as needed

 

Qualifications:

· Must have demonstrated success in coaching volleyball at the collegiate, middle/high school level, and/or was a volleyball player at the college level.

· Thorough understanding of game rules and coaching techniques

· Leadership and communication skills
